The following programs at SNU Tulsa lead to Master's degrees. Each of our graduate programs uses the same adult learning model. The model is based on a one-night-a-week attendance policy.
MASTER'S IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)
The MBA Program is 21 months long and provides quality Christian graduate-level professional education for adults preparing for administrative careers.
MASTER'S OF SCIENCE MANAGEMENT (MSM)
The MSM Program is our fastest graduate degree lasting only 17 months. MSM provides quality Christian graduate-level professional education for adults who are or aspire to be in areas of supervision, management, and executive responsibilities. Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree.
MASTER'S OF ARTS IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP (MAEL)
The MAEL Program is designed to meet very specific needs of persons wishing to prepare for an active role in decision-making in the areas of education - both public and private. This program provides a focus in School Administration.
MASTER'S PROGRAMS IN COUNSELING (MAMFT & MSCP)
There are two graduate degree programs in counseling; a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT). The MSCP program is designed to meet the academic requirements for the state of Oklahoma's Licensed Professional Counselor credential and the MAMFT program fulfills the academic requirements for the Oklahoma Licensed Marital and Family Therapist credential. Both programs share a common core of coursework and are delivered in an accelerated, modularized format.
MASTER'S PROGRAMS IN NURSING (MSNE & MSNL)
The Southern Nazarene University School of Nursing currently offers a Master of Science with a nursing major in two tracks: Nursing Education and Nursing Leadership. The Master of Science in Nursing Education is designed for baccalaureate-educated registered nurses who want to become effective educators in nursing. The curriculum allows the individual to develop teaching expertise in both academic and clinical settings. The Master of Science in Nursing Leadership is designed to help nursing in roles of authority to perform at a maximum level of effectiveness.
